As a Senior System Engineer, you will be a key person in the development of our vehicle-adjacent systems. You will work in a high-tech environment and closely collaborate with colleagues in software, hardware, testing, systems, and architecture to drive the development of cameras, radar systems, and other sensors for the next generation of modern vehicles.
In this role, you will contribute throughout the development chain – from analysis and requirements definition to system design, implementation, testing, and verification – ensuring that the solutions meet both technical and safety-related requirements.
You will among other things:
- Take technical ownership of larger system areas.
- Work with requirements breakdown, system architecture, integration, and advanced analysis.
- Lead technical discussions and support colleagues in complex issues.
- Contribute to strategic decisions and the development of our working methods.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in software, hardware, testing, and functional safety.
We welcome both experienced engineers and those who are earlier in their careers but have the potential to grow. Senior candidates have documented experience in advanced system development, technical leadership, and driving complex development issues. For those still developing, we are looking for a strong analytical ability, curiosity, and a willingness to take responsibility. We offer mentorship and structured skills development as support on the way to a senior role.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and enjoys a role where you drive work forward. You are structured, meticulous, and easily build good relationships. Collaboration and knowledge sharing come naturally to you, and you contribute to a positive and supportive work climate.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- Relevant higher education or university degree in electronics, computer engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in requirements management in complex technical projects.
- Good understanding of system design and system architecture for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with established standards in Systems Engineering.
- Ability to work with a holistic perspective and apply systems thinking in technical decisions.
- Experience with agile methodologies, preferably from scrum teams.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- It is a plus if you have knowledge and experience in Functional Safety.
